Betty’s Bay businesses are demonstrating that they want to be part of the solution in living with baboons in our village by displaying signs to encourage locals and visitors alike to be aware of the consequences of feeding baboons and allowing them access to property.
For our visitors the possibility of catching sight of a baboon family at close quarters in their natural habitat is a ‘bucket list’ item for many. Therefore living in harmony with all of the inhabitants of our biosphere has to be a major aim of businesses that benefit from the Rands spent by visitors drawn to this area because of the diverse and unique flora and fauna to be found.
Currently these signs are being erected at Sitar, Coffee on Clarence and Jack’s Restaurant. If you would like one for your business, please contact Laura on 083 554 7789.
Events: There are a few events up our sleeves that we hope will be supported by our beautiful people.
