NEW PLANS SUBMITTED: 1 Jan 2023 – 24 August 2023 = 109
LITTER: As with our request in June to keep our direct verges neat and tidy, please can we look to keeping our neighbouring roads and those verges which are on open plots clean too.
BUILDING SITES: there are some very sorry looking building sites. Please urge your building team to clean/pick up after themselves.
SPRING is showing its head so keep your eyes open for all the new life emerging both from the ground and within our wildlife community – Francolins and Kiewiets leave their babies in the road, Guineafowl….Bokkies should be foaling too…. If we are aware we will keep our wildlife procreating for future generations.

(Ed: Sadly, according to the OM manager in charge of monitoring the baboons, a baby baboon was killed by a driver who deliberately sped up on the road between two sets of cautionary flag-waving monitors on a strip of Clarence Drive near the Hub. Fortunately his registration plate was noted and he has since been fined and prosecuted. He had a CA numberplate.)
