The First Thursday meeting held with the Overstrand political and administrative leadership on 3 August 2023 at Crassula Hall was used to voice my concern about the poor state of the roads in Betty’s Bay, to highlight the inadequate funding for the procurement of gravel which is key to providing a suitably thick, compacted and shaped road surface as well as the lack of a digger (TLB) for clearing vegetation and accumulated sand from the storm water channels which negatively impacts on the drainage of water away from the roads. It was encouraging to see the good turnout.
