“RUNNING FOR LEOPARDS”: Running 42km to raise R48 000 for CLT projects
1 October: 𝖠𝖯𝖯𝖱𝖤𝖢𝖨𝖠𝖳𝖨𝖮𝖭 𝖯𝖮𝖲𝖳 ~
A big shout-out today to everyone who supported our #RunningForLeopards campaign. Two of our Cape Leopard Trust team members were ready to take on the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, and through your generous donations they raised almost R30k for leopards! Every rand comes directly to the CLT to be used for our research, conservation and education initiatives.
Despite the event being cancelled, Naas van Jaarsveld still ran a 21km on the day, and Matt Arendse was fully committed – he ran his first full marathon solo!
