The OLM and the Service Provider/Consultant are sorting out the “Status Quo Report”. Once sorted, the said report will be made available to the public for comment / input.
Roads:
There is no gravel available. The new financial year started on 1 July 2026. Gravel has been ordered but not yet delivered. For this reason the gravel roads of Betty’s Bay are not being scraped/fixed.
Tar is available. Brenton and his team fix the potholes that they are aware of in Betty’s Bay. Please remember that the Municipality must be made aware of potholes via the Collab App. These will be addressed within the capacity of the Municipality / given working conditions (weather).
Storm Water:
Brenton and his team are currently attending to the cleaning of storm water drainage systems in Betty’s Bay. It is important that the Municipality be made aware of storm water problems via the Collab App. These will be addressed within the capacity of the Municipality / given working conditions (weather).
Standing Note:
Residents must log issues on Collab themselves to get a reference number. When a situation arises over a weekend and is urgent, the Control Room must be notified – 028 313 8111
