In March 2025 there were six call-outs, all medical cases, two requiring hospitalisation.
An important reminder to all: please have your medical aid information, a list of your current medication and medical history at hand as this greatly assists with patient assessments and handover to the ambulance services. We urge people to prominently display both the Erf number and street number on their property so that they can easily be found particularly at night.
For those who may not be aware, a new emergency facility, Overberg Emergency Care (OEC24) opened in Harbour Road, Kleinmond in January 2025. They provide a service for both general and emergency medical care and can be contacted on 021 770 0053 for the On-Call Doctor.
